How can I access Nintendo Switch Online Classic games?
With an active Nintendo Switch Online membership, you can download the Nintendo Entertainment System – Nintendo Switch Online and Super Nintendo Entertainment System – Nintendo Switch Online apps from Nintendo eShop or Nintendo.com directly to your system. If you have a paid Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pass membership, you can also download the Nintendo 64 – Nintendo Switch Online and SEGA Genesis – Nintendo Switch Online applications. Once they are downloaded to your system, start the app and choose a game to play!
How do I start a Nintendo Online Classic game?
After you have downloaded a Nintendo Switch Online classic game library app to your Nintendo Switch system (for example, Nintendo Switch Online - Nintendo Entertainment System), start the app and choose a game to play!
Can I play Nintendo Switch Online classic games offline?
Yes, classic games can be played while you're offline. However, you must have an active membership and verify your membership every seven days by connecting online.
How often are games added to the Nintendo Switch Online game libraries?
The classic game libraries will continue to grow over time. For the latest info, select Nintendo Switch Online from the HOME Menu of your Nintendo Switch console.
